ALS is an uncontrollable disease that has befallen the best of the best. From Lou Gehrig to Mayda Carnes, the disease has not gotten the attention from the world that it deserves. In our mother's honor, we'd love to raise money toward the goal of eliminating the pain and suffering that families before and after us will go through in fighting this crushing disease.
All we ask is that in lieu of flowers, which won't live on to fight and provide for a better life for others, that you instead donate towards the ongoing battle against ALS. And if you'd like, join us in a walk for ALS on November 8th in Irvine, California.
We can't put into words how much our mother meant to us, our father, and all our family and friends who she touched on a daily basis. But we can remember how amazing she was and use her life as a springboard to do bigger and better things in this world, and save others from the pain and suffering that she so valiantly endured.
Her contagious laugh, joyful smile, and loving spirit will be with us forever.
