Greg's ALStar Crew
Thank you for joining Greg's ALStar Crew! The last 2 years were so much fun and we are ready for another great walk this November 4th!
BASIC INFO: The Walk begins at 9:00am at the Irvine Great Park. We would like everyone to meet by 8:45am to get the group together. Check-in starts as early at 8am. Only those who have donated over $75 will need to check in to receive your ALS Association provided white t-shirt for your fundraising efforts. For returning teammates, please bring your previous year's shirts or wear turqoise/blue. We will have about 25 t-shirts to pass out to those who do not have one from previous years.
Directions to parking and the Irivine Great Park is on the bottom of the ALS Association Irvine Walk Homepage.
From I-5 heading SOUTH:
1) Exit Sand Canyon and turn Left.
2) Turn Right on Marine Way
3) Turn Left on Ridge Valley

Why We Need Your Help
Often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of an ALS patient averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this disease. ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries.
This crippling disease can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease yet it still costs loved ones an average of $200,000 a year to provide the care ALS patients need. Help make a difference and donate or join a walk today.
